Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Sacco & Fillas, LLP is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every visitor should be able to learn about their legal options and reach us for help, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to review and improve the site on a continuing basis.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so screen readers can navigate the site
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
- Clearly labeled forms with accessible error messages
- Color contrast intended to meet WCAG AA thresholds
- A “skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Support for the “reduce motion” system preference
Assistive Features Built In
To make the site easier to use, we have added:
- Read-aloud— a “Listen” button on articles and practice-area pages that reads the content aloud.
- Voice input— a microphone option on our consultation forms so you can describe your situation by speaking instead of typing. Available in English, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese.
These features rely on your browser and device. They work in most modern browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, and Safari); where a feature is not supported, the site remains fully usable without it.
Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. It is also designed to work on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining issues. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know using the contact information below and we will do our best to provide the information or service you need through an alternative method.
