WRONGFUL DEATH: The personal injury department of Sacco & Fillas is always called upon to handle tragic cases. There is nothing in the world that you can provide to a family for the loss of their 8 year old son who dies from drowning in a swimming pool while on vacation because of the negligence of a hotel. We took on this case knowing liability will be difficult as trial counsel to a local attorney who looks to Sacco & Fillas for their expert trial work; and, we further understood that other attorneys had rejected this case because of the same liability issues. Nonetheless, after taking on this cause, we are happy to have settled this matter today to the fullest satisfaction of our clients. This chapter in their lives has come to a close. Hopefully, they will proceed with the same courage they had during the entire 2 1/2 years of litigation. We wish them the best.
